RAINY/SUNNY WEDNESDAY

WHAT A DAY. Last thing on my mind today is crafting. My son is being bullied in school and is in a terrible state. He has been unhappy now for weeks and this morning it all came to a head and we managed to get the name of the bully. Worse still it is the same boy who was bullying him 6 years ago in primary school. So how long has this been going on. For the last year My lad has been very quick tempered and now I know why. All the time I'd put it down to the last 3 years, My heart attack, the death of my father and the death of my mother-in-law. Although I guess that has had a lot to do with it this incessant bullying has not helped.

Hopefully now with the help of the school He'll get all the help he needs. I hope so you hear such awful things.

SUNNY TUESDAY

Well what a beautiful day it is today, The sun is shinning happily in the sky and it makes everyone happy too.

Still not done much card making but I've done a lovely butterfly card for a friend. I've just about finished getting my craft room into order and have a place for everything and everything in it's place so it won't belong before my crafting begins in ernest.

I REALLY MUST MAKE A START ON MY CHRISTMAS CARDS. Although I have made some I've not done enough.

I'M Back (again)

I really must make an effort to get on this Blogspot more often. I always seem to be too busy at the moment what with decorating the house and poorly kids. I haven't blogged for ages and as for crafting that had taken a back seat now for far too long. I've got my new crafting room erected (It's a Summer House) and it seems to be taking me forever to sort it out. I really didn't realise I had so much crafting equiptment. I'm being really good and sorting it out properly so That I know where everything is. I'm fed up of not being able to find things. It's taking me a long time but It'll be worth it in the end.

I'm Back Blogging

Well it's ages since I've been on my blog. I've really missed it too. I've been so busy since moving house and as nothing went smoothly it's taken me ages to settle in.

Up until yesterday all my crafting equiptment was in boxes under the stairs in the hall. I can't say I've sone any crafting in the 7 weeks I have been here, mainly because I couldn;t find anything (stupid girl forgot to mark up the boxes with what was in them)

Anyway my summerhouse arrived yesterday and was enconsed at the bottom of the garden. This is going to be my "CRAFTING HAVEN" I've managed to purchase carpet tiles for it and will finish putting them down today. Just the edges need to be done properly. I'm going to have the insides of the walls plasterboarded to make everything a bit more cosy and once the electricity supply is put in and my work surface I can get back to doing the best hobby in the world. I've moved all my boxes down there and plan to sort through them all over the next few days, so that by the time it's all finished I'll know where everything is.

Tuesday Morning

Well Tuesday is here again and I've been up since 5am. My blog is looking rather boring at the moment as I haven't been able to make any cards recently due to the fact that all my crafting equiptment is packed away in boxes in my new house, to which I haven't moved yet. I'll really be so glad when everything is sorted and I can get to do some more. I have to have a look through all my photos and upload some old ones.

It looks like the day going to be a cracking one, the sun has now got his hat on and has come out to play so I think a little walk to the beach with the dog should take first place today before I get on with any more house moving malarkey.

Sunny Sunday Afternoon

What a beautiful Sunny Day. Had such a busy day yesterday moving yet more boxes to new home. Today I've decideded to chill. Most of my crafting stuff is now at my new address so I can't do much now until I finally move. I have kept a few things back in case I go cold turkey and need to make some emergency cards. In fact I think I may make some after I finished this.

Molly is sleeping on the chair next to me. I think she's worn out after her 2 hour walk on the beach this morning. "SPLOSH SPLOSH SPLOSH" is all you can hear when she's down there chasing her ball in and out of the sea and rock pools. She really does love the beach.

BusyBusy Busy

Well I've been so busy over the last week. Packing box after box. I never knew how much we had accumulated over the past 26 yrs of married life. It's not until you move house you know how much you have.

No time for crafting at the moment . In fact as from tommorow my beloved craft goodies will have to be packed away so no more crafting now until we move. (maybe I'll keep a little box of stuff to make some quickie cards just in case I get withdrawal symptoms)

I've been really good I've sent out all my July cards and most of my August ones as well so no-one will have to go without whilst I'm not card-making.

Well that's it for today. So much to do.

Rainy Saturday

Got up this morning and the sun was beautiful. Now its dull dark and raining cats and dogs.

Been Offline for a few weeks as very busy with clearing out attic and other things you have to do when movong house. God why do we accumulate so much rubbish. Probably something to do with me being a hoarder. Between the attic, the garage and the Greenhouse We've filled 3/4 of a large builders skip, not to mention all the books I've donated to the local primary school.

Sadly not only have I not been online to much but I haven't had much time for card making either. Only enough time to make esential cards. By now I've normally started my Christmas cards, not this year.

Once again got to log off as i now have to go to pick dafydd up from the cinema. His birthday treat as he is 14 on Tuesday

SATURDAY'S HERE AGAIN.

Well it's Saturday again and it is a beautiful day here in Porthcawl. The sun is shinning and not a cloud in the sky. I have just got back from the cemetry. Taken some flowers to Dad for Father's Day tomorrow. It was so peaceful there. Did a bit of weeding and polished his headstone. gosh it does get dirty. Still it's nice and clean and shiny now.

Done a bit of shopping earlier, had to get a few bits for Rhys's birthday tomorrow. 19, I can't believe where all the years have gone.

I need to make his card later as I haven't done it yet and also one for Martin's dad. before I get down to that I'll have to take Molly for her walkies. she'll nag at me otherwise. So much for a quiet Saturday afternoon.

I've made a few de-coupage cards recently. I'm not usually into that as I don't like all the fiddle faddle of cutting out but bought my-self some die cut ones on ebay and they are great.

It's beautiful hot and sunny day here in Porthcawl. I've been offline a few days as very busy with the house sale etc. Did find a bit of time to make a few cards althought that was only 'cos I couldn't sleep Saturday morning and was up at 4.30am. I'll post them on her a bit later as the batteries in my camera have run out.

Can't spend too much time on here today, too busy.

Thursday 5th June

I've been intending to start this blog for ages now so here goes. I don't know what I'm doing but what the hell lets give it a go anyway

Well what a day yesterday was, don't want one like that again for a while. Dafydd ill, Brother rushed to hospital and the sale of the house falling though. Oh well as they say pick yourself up and dust yourself off! Lets hope today is better. I'ts not been too bad so far, loads to do but somehow finding it hard today to get off my bum to do it. Haven't done much card making over the past few weeks but I really need to get back to doing some. Maybe it'll take my mind off things. I think I get my "GlitterGirls" boards out tonight and do some embossing and cutting get stuff ready just to put some cards together. I've got no new ones to show at the moment but her are a few of my older ones.

I'll add a few more tomorrow.
